i think THERE for i AM...
I think, therefore I am” is a classic—Descartes’ mic drop for the solo mind. But let’s get real: existence isn’t a one-person show.
Enter “there for I am.” It’s not just a typo (though, yes, it started as one—shoutout to my inner chaos agent), it’s a rebellion against the idea that meaning is manufactured in isolation. In this way, being isn’t just a private thought experiment—it’s about the unescapable present. The acceptance of that fact and decision to be here, stay here, with each other, with purpose.
We exist in context, in community, in the messy, beautiful tangle of showing up for ourselves and one another. That’s where sense is made—together, in the wild now—not in some dead philosopher’s armchair.
This platform isn’t about owning ideas or inventing new philosophies—what I share has been said, felt, and relayed by arguably all observable things everywhere, across time and space. I’m just here connecting the dots and the people, making the complex make sense and stand in relevance. There For I Am is a space to gather, question, and grow—a living, breathing commons for anyone willing to explore, reflect, and expand their sense of self and other in our shared reality. I’m not above or outside this process; I’m right here with you, and grateful you’re here, too.

Academic philosophy made accessible.
This isn’t about memorizing old answers or flexing academic credentials. We break down the big questions—about self, others, and reality itself—into something you can actually use, question, and live. Ten modules, packed with stories, exercises, and honest conversation.
If you’ve ever felt “too real” or “not enough” for philosophy, this is your invitation to dig in, get curious, and make sense—on your own terms, with all of us.
Workshops and support circles run seasonally—see below for details and sign-up.

Philosophy shouldn't be a secret language pressed in textbooks only to be freed in smoke-filled rooms. The Sense Method is a no-jargon, no-gatekeeping philosophy course that will absolutely bend your mind—without breaking your spirit (or the bank).

We're taking back the mic.
Here, your story, your questions, and your take on our shared reality aren’t just welcome— they’re needed. Every perspective is valuable, every experience is valid. This is a podcast for the rest of us: real people, real talk, influencing real change. Here, your resumé doesn't matter. Your mind does— let's make it make sense, together.
Join our live-recorded events every Thursday @ 8pm EST, and tune in to our podcast on Spotify (launching July 2025).
Forget chasing the light—sometimes, what we really need is to feel a little warmth in the dark.
Openmindfulness isn’t about fixing, forcing, or faking it. It’s a come-as-you-are space to lay down your burdens, share what’s heavy, and get real support from people who get it. Together, we unpack our stories, honor each person’s importance, and cook up ideas for action—because empathy is more than a feeling, it’s a catalyst. Let’s turn our collective care into something that actually changes lives (including our own).
Hot take: disagreement isn’t dangerous—it’s how we learn.
The Safe-Space Debate Circle is where we bring our spiciest opinions, our wildest “what-ifs,” and our most tangled truths. Here, every perspective is important, and every voice is respected. We don’t just “agree to disagree”—we dig into the friction, find the humanity underneath, and see how our differences add up to something bigger. No echo chambers, no pile-ons, just honest conversation that stretches us all.
Whether you chose the trip, got thrown in the deep end, or just want to know what all the “woo-woo” is about, this circle is for you.
The Psychedelic Support Circle is a judgment-free zone for sharing stories, asking questions, and untangling the weird and wonderful edges of consciousness. We talk about what these experiences mean, how they’re handled (or mishandled) in our communities, and how we can show up better for each other—no matter where the journey takes us.
they don't include us
in the conversations.
so we're broadcasting our own.

Meet Sam
I’m Samantha Robyn Norrah—philosopher, innovation ally, and the mind behind There For I Am. My journey has always been about asking the questions most people are afraid to touch. I hold a B.S. in Digital Audiences and a B.A. in Philosophy from Arizona State University, where I specialized in epistemology, mind, and technology, and earned a Google scholarship for research in AI ethics and identity.
But my real education started long before the degrees. I grew up negotiating paradoxes—between cultures, beliefs, and the stories we tell ourselves and each other. I’ve lived through the messiness of mental health, identity, and the search for meaning; I’ve worked as a brand strategist for grassroots movements, artists, and businesses trying to do good in a world that doesn’t always make sense. My work is rooted in the conviction that philosophy belongs to everyone, and that wisdom is something we build together, not something handed down from on high.
My approach as an advocate and event moderator combines the rigor of philosophy, the insights of psychosociology, and a lived commitment to equity, curiosity, and care. If you’re ready to look at your life from new angles, question what you’ve been taught, and build meaning that actually fits—you’ll find a partner in me.
I’m based in Atlanta, always learning, and always up for a conversation that bends the mind and opens the heart. If you’re here, you’re already part of the story. Let's keep writing it.
