Q: Are minors allowed to participate?A: Some offerings are open to those under 18, but parental or guardian consent may be required for certain events, group access, plans, or one-on-one sessions. Check the details for each program, and if you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to me directly.
-
Q: What if I have a concern or complaint?A: If something isn’t working for you or you have feedback, I need to hear it. Use the contact form, email me, or reach out directly to my socials. I’ll listen, respond, and do my best to understand your perspective. I truly value constructive feedback and thank you for helping me broaden my understanding and see where I can work to improve this project!
-
Q: Who can join There For I Am?A: If you’re curious, open-minded, and ready to engage with respect, you’re welcome here—regardless of background, belief, or experience. We believe everyone has something valuable to bring to the table (even if you’re not sure what that is yet).
-
Q: Are your offerings accessible to people with varying abilities?A: All courses are currently design with closed captioning and script available for download. Alternative languages will be offered on our platform in time. If you need alternate formats, any specific accommodations, or have a language you'd like to see this content in– let me know! I’ll do everything I can to meet you where you are.
-
Q: How do you handle changes to policies or offerings?A: Things evolve. If I update a policy, event, or membership, I’ll communicate changes clearly and in advance whenever possible either on my socials, in virtual groups, during online meetings, and/or through email. I value transparency and don't mind being questioned or judged. It's important to me to share what's happening and I'll do my best to let everyone know what evolves and when in a timely fashion.
-
Q: What’s expected of me when I participate here?A: Show up as yourself, respect others as equals, and keep wonderment at the center. This is a space for honest dialogue, not dogma or performance. I ask that you listen deeply, speak thoughtfully, and remember that every voice—including yours—is valuable.
-
Q: Can I disagree with others?A: Absolutely. Disagreement is considered a temporary illusion here. A space we reach that helps us grow and evolve as individuals and a community. In some sense, we all totally (secretly) agree with each other and reaching misunderstandings only means we're meeting spaces within one another that don't perfectly match or line up. And those spaces don't do that for a reason– it's an indicator that there's something to learn, somewhere we can dig a bit a deeper. Keep your mind open, breath breathing, and allow for others to exist that are different than you. Let yourself and others challenge ideas, not other beings and their very real existence. The goal is to win, and winning is meeting in the middle, finding a place to understand and expand, together.
-
Q: Can I suggest changes to the code of conduct?A: Yes. This is body of work is a living platform, shaped by everyone who participates. If you see a gap or have an idea for improvement, I want to hear from you.
-
Q: What kind of behavior isn’t tolerated?A: Disrespect, harassment, discrimination, or any form of abuse won’t fly here without being called out. That includes hate speech, personal attacks, or repeated boundary-pushing. We will be aware of this kind of behavior and work to get to the bottom of it. We do not value canceling others for misunderstandings and expressions of pain. Hurt doesn't need to beget hurt and it often does. We will engage with you, as a community, to deescalate and center your nervous system. We ask that participants do not test this kindness and compassion. If things escalate, I will personally communicate with you and offer we hold dialogue offline until understandings can be reached. If we cannot work together, I will have to take care of my own well-being and value my time, resulting to removing myself from the situation and prohibiting you from our platform. This is a last-resort perimeter that I set to protect all parties. If this space is reached, I encourage you to seek support outside our community to manage any challenging, violent emotions and unease. You will be okay, we will all learn from our work together.
-
Q: What if I see or experience something that crosses the line?A: It's important that we all know and understand that the lines we may feel others cross might not be the lines that others know are there. We need to remain openminded and work to understand and communicate with one another. To be honest and humble in acknowledging what we know and don't know about each other. In these cases, I ask that participants that experience harm take time to regulate their nervous system and seek healthy coping strategies before addressing these issues with myself directly. We can work together to find solutions, address issues, and mediate, when needed.
-
Q: What happens if someone breaks the code of conduct?A: I personally handle violations on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes that means holding a conversation, mediating, and even removal from the space. We're all here to learn, and I am no exception. My intention is to always come from gratitude, and I know that any situation that rises in my life is an opportunity to learn and grow and help others do the same. In any and all cases, this means that I will do my best to find a way to understand how and why things things happen so I can handle relationships with care, consideration, safety, respect, openmindedness, humility, and integrity. And this is something I aim to hold not just with those who have been violated, but those who violate, and the community we are building at-large.
-
Q: Are group sessions or events recorded?A: Some live events and workshops are recorded for community members who can’t attend live, but you’ll always be told in advance, required to give consent before we begin, and welcome to leave if you're unsure, unable, and unwilling to participate in recordings. If you’d rather not be on a recording or would like to be anonymous, please let me know and I’ll make sure your privacy is respected.
-
Q: Can I participate anonymously?A: The short answer: yes. Because our community values authenticity and transparency, I do require anonymous participants of virtual events and groups to link up with me on a Discovery call for permissions first. I want to help you feel safe and present and this meeting will help me understand your needs and how I and our community can accommodate them.
-

-
Q: I can’t access a live event or workshop. What now?A: Make sure you’re logged in and using the right link. If the problem sticks, refresh your browser, clear your caches and cookies, or try a different device. Still stuck? Contact me right away and I’ll get you sorted so you don’t miss out.
-

If it’s still not working, let me know—I’ll troubleshoot with you or send a recording if you miss anything important.
-
Q: Are all live events recorded?A: Most are recorded for our public podcast, unless otherwise noted. This aspect is always very visible on the event pages and I make sure to verify and seek consent with all participants before we begin recording during the virtual events. Q: Can I get a copy of a past event recording?A: If you registered for the event or have a membership, yes—just ask and I’ll send you the link.
-
Q: What if I don’t want to be recorded or want to be an observer?A: No problem. Contact me before for permission and instruction for anonymous participation in live recorded events. If you're just looking to hold a seat during the event to attend as an observer, we open our events a few minutes in advance and just ask that you gain our consent through open communication to keep us aware of your intentions before we start recording. In these cases, we will hide your participation and block your camera and mic, respectfully, and keep our chatroom open for you.
-

Q: How many people are in each workshop?A: I keep groups small—usually capped at 30—to make sure everyone has a chance to speak and connect.
-
Q: Is The Sense Method used in advocacy sessions?A: The Sense Method is the backbone of my approach. In our sessions, I infuse its core principles—context, perspective, story, and self-reflection—to help us unpack challenges, reframe old narratives, and build new meaning. It’s all conversational, not a lecture. If you want the lecture, you can always enroll in the course or a membership plan to gain access. All series plans include automatic access to The Sense Method and I encourage utilizing this tool at your own pace but don't require it to work with me. The Sense Method is another tool to support your unique process of discovery and growth if it feels right for you.

-
Q: How do you make sure your work is trauma-informed and culture-aware?A: I approach every session with sensitivity to trauma, respecting your boundaries and pacing. I’m committed to culture-informed care, which means honoring your social and personal identity, pronouns, and lived experience, and recognizing how social pressures and our physical bodies and chemical processes can shape our reality. Your safety and comfort always come first.
-
Q: How do I book a one-on-one session?A: You can book individual sessions directly from the Advocacy tab in your account. -
Q: What is a one-on-one advocacy session?A: A one-on-one advocacy session is a private, personalized meeting with me—your space to untangle your story, gain perspective, and work through challenges using The Sense Methodology and relational mapping. Relational mapping is a tool I use in sessions to help you visualize and understand the connections, patterns, and influences shaping your life—whether it’s family, friends, work, or reality itself. Together, we’ll map out these relationships so you can see where things are tangled, where you’re thriving, and where you might want to shift or grow. It’s not about labeling or diagnosing—it’s about making sense of your world, your way. I’m not your coach or therapist; I’m your advocate, here to reflect, question, and support you as you make sense of your life and relationships in a way that’s true to you.
-
Q: Can I request that my one-on-one session be recorded?A: Yes—if you want a recording of your session for your own reference, just let me know before we begin. I’ll only record with your explicit consent, and you’ll always receive a private copy. No recordings are ever shared or stored without your knowledge.
-
Q: What will I receive during advocacy sessions?A: You’ll get more than conversation—you’ll receive genuine emotional support, trauma-informed empathy, and practical tools for understanding yourself and your relationships. I bring body-awareness practices into our work, helping you notice how emotions and experiences show up physically, not just mentally. This is a space where all of you—mind, body, and story—is welcome.
-
Q: Can I see my relational map?A: Absolutely. After we’ve completed at least 10 hours of work together, you can request to see your current relational map. It’s a living document, and I’ll walk you through how it can and will evolve, how and where things can and will be shifted, and where new connections or patterns are emerging. This visual feedback helps you track your growth and see your story from new angles.
-
Q: What if I need to reschedule or cancel a session?A: Life is unpredictable. If you need to reschedule, just give at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice are refunded. For late changes, a fees may apply—details are on the booking page.
-
Q: How does relational mapping help me?A: Relational mapping gives you a bird’s-eye view of your life—showing not just who and what is in your orbit, but how those connections impact your sense of self, your choices, and your well-being. It’s a tool for clarity, insight, and transformation, helping us spot patterns, untangle dynamics, and build healthier, more intentional relationships—with others and yourself.
-
Q: What is relational mapping, and how does it work in sessions?A: Relational mapping is my proprietary system for visually charting your connections—to people, ideas, systems, and even parts of yourself (from your internal and external body, mind, to your social and personal sense of self). As we work together, we’ll map out your relationships, patterns, and influences, making the invisible visible. This isn’t a static map—it morphs and grows as you do, reflecting changes in your worldview and relationships over time. Sometimes we have boundaries, blockages, open fields, busy conjunctions, and abandoned spaces– all of which we will discover together, explore, and define.
-
Q: Are these sessions confidential?A: Absolutely. Everything you share is private and stays between us, unless required by law or you request otherwise. For minors, parental consent is required to participate.

This dimension is designed for those who are ready to commit to their growth and are excited to work together.
-
Q: Is relational mapping only about people?A: Not at all. We map your connections to ideas, beliefs, communities, systems, the physical world, your experiences with it, and your relationship to your own body, others perceptions of it, and your emotions. The map is as complex and unique as you are, and it’s always evolving as your perspective and world expand.
-
Q: How do I access or delete my personal data from advocacy sessions?A: Your data is yours, period. If you want a copy of notes or recordings from our sessions—or want them deleted—just send me a request through your account or by email. I’ll handle it quickly, no questions asked.
-
Q: How does relational mapping work in the Next-Gen series?A: Relational mapping is a visual tool we use together to chart your connections—to people, ideas, communities, and systems. As we work through your sessions, you’ll see how your map changes and expands, showing growth in your worldview, relationships, and sense of self. After at least 10 hours together or through a very long introductory questionnaire you can opt into, I'll show you your current map and we’ll reflect on how we can broaden perspectives and discover new ways of relating to ourselves and the world around us.
-
Q: Where can I find the full booking and cancellation policy?A: You’ll find all the details in the booking policy linked on the scheduling page and in your account dashboard. If you have questions or something’s unclear, ask me directly—I want you to feel confident and informed before you book.

Q: Is there a community just for Next-Gen members?A: Yes! There’s a private virtual space just for Next-Gen participants to connect, share, and support each other. It’s your place to ask questions, swap stories, and build real relationships.
-
Q: What if I can’t make every event or session?A: Life’s busy—I get it. All live events are recorded, and you can schedule your one-on-ones at times that work for you. You’ll never be penalized for missing something; this is about support, not stress.
-
Q: How do I sign up for Next-Gen?A: Head to the Next-Gen page or the memberships tab in your account. When you enroll, you will be asked a few questions, need to submit verification of your age, and need to gain parental guardian consent if you're under the age of 18. Once you enroll, you’ll get all the info you need to book sessions, join events, and connect with the community.
-
Q: How are trauma-informedness and cultural awareness part of this program?A: Every session is guided by respect for your boundaries, your background, and your lived reality. I’m trauma-informed, as a lived-experienced practicer and always check in about what feels safe and supportive for you because I need people to provide me the same treatment. I don't have a certification, just scars. And it through my lived experience that I can deeply connect with others without the educational badge. I also honor and appreciate cultural differences and understand that identity, gender, and even natural chemicals can shape how we experience the world. All of its real, and all of it's valid. You’re not just a “client”—you’re a whole beautiful and valuable person, and you’ll always be treated this way.
-
Q: What is the Next-Gen Advocacy Series & Community?A: The Next-Gen Advocacy Series is a 3-month program designed for anyone ages 11-25 who’s ready to question, create, and connect. It’s a mix of private one-on-one sessions, group events, private community, and full access to The Sense Method course—all built to help you find your voice and shape your future.
-
Q: Why do you offer this work for youth and young adults?A: I believe the next generation deserves support that’s honest, accessible, and actually relevant to the world they’re inheriting. My mission is to help you build confidence, critical thinking, and self-awareness—so you can shape your own future and contribute to a better world for all of us.
-
Q: How many sessions are included, and do they roll over if I miss one?A: The Next-Gen Advocacy Series includes four private one-on-one sessions each month, for three months. Sessions don’t roll over—so it’s on you to schedule and show up for yourself. All the details are in the booking policy, but if you have questions or need help finding a time, just reach out.
-
Q: How do you ensure safety and well-being during sessions?A: My work is trauma-informed, culturally aware, and always tailored to each participant’s needs. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where your child’s identity, boundaries, and comfort are respected at every step. If your child ever feels uncomfortable, they can pause or stop a session at any time.
-
Q: What’s your experience working with young people?A: I’ve spent a few years working with high schoolers and young adults through volunteer work, creative projects, and educational programs. I’m not a licensed therapist or counselor—my work is grounded in lived experience, philosophy, and psychosociology. I created this series to offer the kind of support I wish I’d had growing up: honest, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping you make sense of your own story.
-
Q: Why is the Next-Gen Series so discounted compared to other tiers?A: Because I believe in investing in the future—our future. My personal mission is to uplift the next generation, to make this kind of support accessible, and to help build a world where everyone has the tools and confidence to make a difference. I dedicate my life to this work, to our planet, and to the well-being of all who’ll inherit it. This tier is priced to make sure no one is left out just because of money and there are scholarships available under "Compassion Opportunities" in this FAQ below for more assistance, where needed.
-
Q: Can minors join the Next-Gen Advocacy Series?A: Yes—youth ages 18 and to 11 are welcome to participate, with the understanding that anyone under 18 will need a parent or legal guardian’s consent before starting. If you’re living with a guardian or trusted adult who isn’t a parent, their consent works just as well. I cap this work at age 11+ because the content and conversations are designed for those ready to engage in deeper self-reflection and philosophical thinking.

Q: What’s included in the Next-Gen series?A: You’ll get four private advocacy sessions and relational mapping with me each month, access to all live and recorded events, a spot in the Next-Gen virtual community, and The Sense Method course. It’s a full-spectrum support system for your journey.
-
Q: Who can join the Next-Gen Advocacy Series?A: If you’re with the ages of 11-25 and want a space to get real about life, meaning, and your place in the world, you’re welcome here. No prior experience or educational background needed—just curiosity and a willingness to show up.
-
Q: What if I don’t have a parent but do have a guardian or trusted adult?A: That’s absolutely fine. Any adult who is legally responsible for your care—whether a parent, guardian, or trusted adult—can provide the required consent for you to participate.
-
Q: What if I need help with booking or have special needs?A: If you need help scheduling, have accessibility needs, or want to talk through anything before you book, just email me or use the contact form. I’m here to make this process as smooth and welcoming as possible.
-
Q: Do you have any professional certifications?A: No, I don’t hold clinical licenses or certifications. My expertise comes from my academic background in philosophy, years of personal study, and hands-on experience supporting youth and young adults with their creative expression and education. I’m transparent about my role: I’m an advocate and ally, not a therapist or coach.
-
Q: What happens if I miss a session or cancel late?A: If you cancel within 48 hours of your session or don’t show up, you’ll be charged a late cancellation fee (details are in the booking policy). Sessions in the Next-Gen Advocacy Series don’t roll over, so it’s important to schedule and show up for yourself each month. If you’re dealing with an emergency or something truly out of your control, just let me know—compassion always comes first.
-
Q: What’s your policy for canceling or rescheduling sessions?A: Life happens—sometimes you need to shift things around. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. You can manage this right from your account or by reaching out to me directly. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or don’t show up, a late fee may apply, since that time was set aside just for you.
-
Q: Can I stay involved after the 3 months are up?A: Absolutely. You’re always welcome in the broader community, and there are options to continue with advocacy sessions, events, or other programs as you grow.
-
Q: As a guardian, will I be informed about what happens in these sessions?A: All sessions are confidential to create a safe and trusting space. I don’t share details of what’s discussed unless your child requests it, or if there’s a legal or safety concern that requires action. If you have questions about my approach or want to discuss boundaries, I’m always open to a conversation.
-
Q: What’s your approach with minors and guardians?A: My goal is to provide a safe, affirming space for young people—no matter their family structure or background. I keep guardians in the loop about scheduling, consent, and overall participation, but everything shared in sessions is confidential unless there’s a safety concern or your child asks me to share. I’m always happy to answer questions about my methods, values, or approach—just reach out.
-
Q: What if I have questions as a guardian?A: I welcome them. If you want to know more about the program, my background, or how I handle confidentiality, just ask. I want both participants and their guardians to feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.
-
Q: What if I need extra support or want to connect one-on-one?A: If you need more personal guidance, you can always book a Next-Gen Advocacy Session if you're enrolled in that program. If not, you can book a one-on-one session or reach out to me directly through the platform. This community is here for you, but you’re never alone if you need something more focused.
-
Q: What is the Next-Gen private community?A: The Next-Gen private community is a secure online space just for participants of the Next-Gen Advocacy Series. It’s where you can connect with peers, share your experiences, ask questions, and support each other as you work through The Sense Method and your advocacy sessions together.
-
Q: Are there moderators?A: Yes, I personally moderate the Next-Gen Private Community to keep it safe, supportive, and on track. If you ever feel uncomfortable or witness something that crosses a line, reach out to me directly and I’ll address it quickly.
-
Q: Who can join this community?A: This group is open to anyone enrolled in the Next-Gen Advocacy Series (ages 11–25, with guardian consent for minors). If you’re part of the series, you’ll get an invite to join as soon as your enrollment is confirmed.
-
Q: Can I stay in the community after my series ends?A: Yes! Once you’ve been part of the Next-Gen Advocacy Series, you’re welcome to stay connected in the community until you age out of your groups bracket. Feel free to keep the conversation going, and support new members as they join.
-
Q: Is everything shared here confidential?A: Yes—this is a private, members-only space. What’s shared in the group stays in the group, unless someone’s safety is at risk. Please respect everyone’s privacy and don’t share screenshots or stories outside the community.
-
Q: Are there guidelines for how to engage?A: Absolutely. Bring respect, curiosity, and care. Disagreements are welcome—hostility is not. Confidentiality, kindness, and constructive sharing are the ground rules. If you want to participate anonymously, just let me know and I’ll help set that up for you.
-
Q: What can I do in the Next-Gen private community?A: You can join ongoing discussions about course modules, advocacy work, and life in general. Share your story, reflections, and creative projects. Ask for advice or offer support to others. Participate in group activities, challenges, and prompts. Access specific Next-Gen resources and announcements.
-
Q: Will my guardian or parent see what I post in the community?A: No. The community is a private space for participants. Guardians are only involved in providing consent and supporting your participation, not in monitoring your posts or conversations. What you share in the group stays in the group, unless there’s a safety concern or you ask for something to be shared.
-
Q: What’s included in the series?A: These series include up to 20 private one-on-one sessions for up to 3 hours each, over 10 months. Ongoing relational mapping, with visual updates as your context and relationships evolve. Confidential, judgment-free space for honest reflection and strategic sense-making. Access to relevant workshops, resources, and community events. Personalized support for your goals, growth, and well-being.
-
Q: How is this different from executive coaching or therapy?A: I’m not here to give you a leadership playbook or diagnose you—I’m here to help you see the bigger picture, process the pressures, and build meaning that fits your values and context. My approach blends philosophy, psychosociology, and real-world experience. It’s advocacy, not authority.
-
Q: Who are these series for?A: The Luminary Series is for creatives, artists, and public-facing figures. The Executive Series is for business leaders, nonprofit directors, and anyone in a high-stakes, high-impact role. If you’re navigating complex relationships, public scrutiny, or just want a space to get real about leadership, these are for you.
-
Q: How do I schedule sessions and what’s the cancellation policy?A: You’ll have access to a private scheduling portal to book your sessions at your own pace. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel; late cancellations may incur a fee. All details are in your booking policy.
-
Q: Is this work trauma-informed and culturally aware?A: Absolutely. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, gender-aware, and culturally responsive practices. I recognize the unique pressures leaders face and hold space for all aspects of your identity and experience.
-
Q: What are the Luminary and Executive Advocacy Series?A: These are 10-month, high-touch support programs designed for public figures, leaders, executives, and changemakers who want to deepen their impact, resilience, and authenticity. You get up to 20 private advocacy sessions, custom relational mapping, and a confidential space to work through the unique challenges that come with visibility and responsibility.
-
Q: Is this confidential?A: 100%. Everything shared in our sessions and through relational mapping is private and never shared without your explicit consent—unless there’s a legal obligation or safety concern.
-
Q: Why choose this over traditional coaching or consulting?A: If you’re looking for a space where you can drop the mask, get honest about what’s really going on, and build meaning that’s true to you—not just your title—this is for you. I bring a unique blend of philosophical depth, real-world experience, and genuine care to every session.
-
Q: How do I get started?A: Apply through the Luminary or Executive Series page or reach out directly for a Discovery Call or if you are a supporter or assistant of the participant you can book an Indie & Industry Discovery Call. We’ll talk through your needs, goals, and whether this is the right fit for you.
-
Q: What is relational mapping and how does it help leaders?A: Relational mapping is a visual, evolving tool that helps you see the networks, influences, and dynamics shaping your work and life. For leaders, it’s a way to spot blind spots, manage complexity, and make more intentional decisions. You’ll get regular updates to your map as we work together, so you can track growth and shifts in real time.
-
Q: How do I book a workshop for my team or organization?A: Head to the Advocacy page and sign up for an Indie & Industry Discovery Call. Fill out the inquiry form to schedule your free call. Here, we can work through your needs, vision, and the best way to customize the experience for your group.
-
Q: What’s your philosophy behind these workshops?A: My work is about more than business results—it’s about building a culture of equality, purpose, and deep communal connection. I believe in addressing education inequality, making deep thinking accessible, and helping teams and individuals see their value as part of a bigger picture. My workshops are designed to spark honest dialogue, foster empathy and accountability, and create space for growth that benefits not just your organization, but the world we all share.
-
Q: What if our team or my business philosophy has a unique way of working?A: I love working with teams and business leaders that think differently. I see my role as a collaborator and translator—helping bridge your unique approach with the broader frameworks of The Sense Method. We’ll find the intersections and build from there, so your team gets the best of both worlds: your own vision, enhanced by new tools and perspectives.
-
Q: What topics do you cover in these workshops?A: Topics range from philosophical problem-solving and creative collaboration to ethical leadership, team dynamics, and building a culture of curiosity and openmindfulness. Each workshop is tailored to your group’s needs and goals—no cookie-cutter templates here.
-
Q: Can you adapt The Sense Method to our industry or field?A: Absolutely. The Sense Method is designed to be flexible and responsive, not rigid. Whether you’re in tech, creative arts, nonprofit, or any other sector, I’ll tailor the content and exercises to your context, challenges, and team dynamics. My goal is to help you integrate new ways of thinking and collaborating without losing what already makes your organization special.
-
Q: What are Indie & Industry Workshops?A: These are interactive, philosophy-driven workshops designed for both independent creators and organizations. Whether you’re an artist, entrepreneur, small team, or established business, these workshops help you and your group tackle big questions, untangle challenges, and build new ways of thinking and collaborating.
-
Q: Who are these workshops for?A: Anyone looking to bring deeper sense-making, creativity, and critical thinking into their work. I work with indie creatives, startups, nonprofits, and established companies—if you’re ready to get honest, challenge assumptions, and grow together, you’re in the right place.
-
Q: What makes your workshops different from standard corporate training?A: I bring philosophy, lived experience, and a trauma-informed, culturally aware lens to every session. This isn’t about buzzwords or surface-level fixes—it’s about real conversation, critical thinking, and practical tools your team can actually use and relate to in and outside of the workplace and in a way that marries well with many theories and business or coaching practices.
-
Q: What does the pre-workshop collaboration process look like?A: After our initial call, I’ll dive into your materials—mission statements, past projects, team feedback, whatever you want to share. I’ll ask thoughtful questions and listen for what matters most to you. Together, we’ll shape the workshop agenda, activities, and even the language we use, so your team feels seen and your values are honored. I can also create custom workbooks or post-workshop toolkits specific to your organization.
-
Q: How long are the workshops, and how many people can join?A: Single lesson workshops typically run 90-120 minutes, but timing can be adjusted to fit your needs. Group sizes can range from small teams to larger organizations—just let me know your numbers and we’ll design something that fits.
-
Q: What about privacy and confidentiality?A: All participant information is kept confidential and used only for managing workshop participation and support. We don’t record or share anything without your explicit consent, and I’m happy to work with your organization’s privacy requirements.
-
Q: Can you provide follow-up support or ongoing sessions?A: Absolutely. I offer follow-up workshops, ongoing consulting, and custom support plans for teams who want to keep the momentum going. Just ask and we’ll build something that fits your goals.
-
Q: What’s the format—virtual, in-person, or hybrid?A: I offer workshops for Industries that can be virtual but are best in-person. For Indie businesses, I offer virtual workshopping seminars for their clients and am open for in-person works via retreats. Travel costs aren't included in my set pricing and we can go over budgets and expectations in our meeting. Let’s talk about what works best for you and your team and clients.
-
Q: Do you offer discounts or sliding scale pricing for nonprofits or grassroots groups?A: Yes and no. While I’m committed to accessibility and impact, I don't offer discounts on the work I do within non-profit and grassroots organizations. I do, however, offer volunteer services for the communities they may serve and you can read more about that below.
-
Q: Do you offer ongoing support after a project wraps?A: Definitely. I can stay on as a consultant, offer follow-up workshops, or provide integration support to keep your momentum going.
-
Q: Can you collaborate with teams outside the US or in different time zones?A: Yes! I work virtually with teams and individuals around the world. We’ll coordinate schedules and communication to make sure everyone’s included and the process feels seamless.
-
Q: How do you integrate The Sense Method with our company’s culture or project philosophy?A: Before any project, I spend time understanding your team’s dynamics, language, and core philosophies. Through discovery calls and collaborative planning, I weave The Sense Method into your workflow—not as an overlay, but as an extension of what you already do. This ensures our work together feels authentic, relevant, and actionable for your industry.
-
Q: What’s the cost or structure for collaborations?A: Every project is different. After our initial call, I’ll send a proposal outlining options for scope, timeline, and pricing—always transparent, no hidden fees.
-
Q: How do we start a collaboration?A: Reach out through the collaboration inquiry form on my site or email me directly. We’ll set up a call to talk through your ideas, needs, and what you hope to accomplish. From there, we’ll sketch out a plan for how to work together—no pressure, just open conversation.
-
Q: How do we start a collaboration?A: Reach out through a free Indie & Industry Discovery Call on the Advocacy page on my website. On this call we'll explore your needs, challenges, and vision. If it’s a fit, I’ll propose a custom plan and timeline, and we’ll move forward together.
-
Q: What does collaboration look like with you?A: Collaboration is about meeting as equals to create something new. Whether you’re an indie creator, a team leader, or a company looking for fresh perspective, I work alongside you—not above you—to co-design projects, workshops, or events that blend your vision with The Sense Method. Every partnership is unique and shaped by what you bring to the table.
-
Q: What’s your approach to conflict or creative differences in collaboration?A: Honest dialogue is key. If differences come up, I hold space for everyone’s perspective and help us find common ground. The best collaborations are built on trust, respect, and a willingness to stretch—together.
-
Q: What industries have you worked with?A: I’ve collaborated with media and TV production teams, tech startups, nonprofit leaders, and independent creators. I love working with anyone pushing boundaries—whether that’s in storytelling, technology, education, or social innovation.
-
Q: How do you handle intellectual property and credit in collaborative projects?A: Credit and ownership are always discussed up front. I believe in clear agreements but don't personally require contribution. If you have specific needs or concerns, we’ll address them before we start.
-
Q: What does a collaboration with you look like?A: Every collaboration starts with a deep dive into your vision, values, and goals. Whether you’re launching a show, developing a tech product, or leading a creative campaign, I bring The Sense Methodology and relational mapping to help you clarify your message, align your team, and create work that resonates on a deeper level. We’ll co-design the process so it fits your unique culture and ambitions.
-
Q: Who do you collaborate with?A: I work with a wide range of partners—media and television companies, tech firms, creative agencies, indie business owners, and people innovating across industries. If your team is exploring new ideas, building something meaningful, or ready to challenge the status quo, I’m interested in collaborating.
-
Q: Can you help with messaging, innovation, or system rewiring?A: Absolutely. I specialize in helping teams and creators reframe narratives, solve complex problems, and align messaging with a global, inclusive vision. Whether you’re tackling a new product launch, a brand refresh, or a systemic challenge, I bring a mix of philosophical insight, psychosocial strategy, and creative thinking to the table.
-
Q: Can you share examples of past collaborations with media, tech, or creative teams?A: Many of my previous works—with media and television companies and creative teams—come from earlier chapters in my journey. I’m happy to discuss those projects and what I learned from them, but I want to be transparent: this current collaboration offering is new, and it’s evolving with me. My philosophy, skills, and sense of purpose have grown a lot, and the work I’m offering now is more experimental, intentional, and responsive than anything I’ve done before. If you choose to collaborate with me now, you’re not just getting a repeat of past projects—you’re partnering in a living, expanding process that aims to reflect the best of what I’ve learned and where I’m headed next. I see every new partnership as a co-creation, and I’m excited to build something that’s as fresh and forward-thinking as you are.
-
Q: What kinds of services do you offer through outreach?A: I can bring The Sense Method workshops, community talks, group discussions, or custom sessions directly to your community. Whether it’s a one-time event or a short series, I tailor the experience to your group’s needs and context, always centering accessibility and respect.
-
Q: What are Volunteer Outreach Opportunities?A: Volunteer Outreach Opportunities mean I, Sam, offer my workshops, talks, and The Sense Method resources directly to the communities served by nonprofits—free of charge to the individuals and communities themselves. This is my way of giving back and making sure those most often left out of these conversations have access to meaningful, transformative support.
-
Q: Why do you volunteer your work in this way?A: My mission is to address education inequality and make philosophical, critical, and creative thinking accessible to everyone—not just those who can pay. I believe everyone deserves the chance to make sense of their story and connect with others, and I dedicate my work to uplifting those who are too often excluded from these spaces.
-
Q: Do you ever offer these services to staff or teams at nonprofits?A: For staff, teams, or organizational development, I offer paid workshops and consulting. My volunteer outreach is specifically for the direct benefit of the communities you serve, not internal staff training.
-
Q: Why do you make a distinction between nonprofit teams and their communities?A: I want to make sure my time and resources go where they’re needed most—directly to people who might not otherwise have access to this kind of support. Nonprofit staff and contributors do incredible work and are welcome to book my paid services, but my volunteer outreach is reserved for community impact.
-
Q: How can a nonprofit request volunteer services for their community?A: If you’re a nonprofit or community leader, reach out through my websites Advocacy page and schedule an Indie & Industry Discovery Call. When you sign up you can provide me with details about your community and what you’re hoping to offer. We’ll have a conversation to see if it’s a good fit and design something that meets your community’s needs.
-
Q: Are there limits to how often or how many people you can serve through outreach?A: I do my best to accommodate as many requests as possible, but availability depends on my schedule and current commitments. My priority is always to serve communities where this work can have the most impact. This doesn't mean those communities are large in size– it means those communities need more readily access to this kind of work. I will prioritize my volunteered work on this basis and not on the size of ones organization.
-
Q: Who qualifies for these no-cost services?A: These opportunities are reserved for the people and communities served by nonprofit organizations—whether that’s youth, marginalized groups, or anyone facing barriers to traditional education and support. The nonprofit’s staff or contributors aren’t eligible for these free services, but I’m happy to discuss paid partnerships for staff development if needed.
-
Q: Who qualifies for these opportunities?A: If you’re committed to showing up for yourself and this work but can’t afford the standard rates, you qualify. I trust you to know your own situation—there's no need to prove anything or jump through hoops. Your word is yours, and I'm here to help– not perpetuate shame. Just know that you have to commit if you're going down this road with me. I will expect you to show up and own the work we do together. Let's stay grateful for each other and connect in this journey. You're not alone.
-
Q: Can I pay it forward in the future?A: If and when you’re in a place to do so, I ask you to pay it forward—whether that’s supporting someone else, contributing to our greater global community, or living out the values of compassion, equal value, reciprocity, and respect in your own life. This is an obligation I set with those I help, and an expectation I hold with myself when I receive aid, personally. Endlessly receiving support isn't enough, no matter where we are in life. At some point, what is given to us becomes taken and stolen when we hold and hoard it. Good things come to us when we share the gifts of this healing and help with others. So let's keep the connections we make in the symbiotic nurturing love and support from one another rippling to uplift others. And stand strong in our gratitude for those who have helped us stay stable on the sometimes turbulent rides of our individual journeys.
-
Q: How do I apply for Been-There Compassionate Care?A: Just book a free Discovery Call with me and let me know what’s going on. There’s absolutely no shame in reaching out—I’ve personally had to rely on others’ generosity and sliding-scale support before, and I wouldn’t be here (or even alive) without it. This is my way of paying it forward and helping the next person up.
-
Q: Why do you offer this?A: Because I know what it’s like to need help and not be able to pay for it. I’ve been there, and I’m only here because others showed up for me when I needed it most. There’s nothing to be ashamed about—life is unpredictable, and we all need a hand sometimes. I want to break the cycle of shame and make sure you know it’s brave and brilliant of you to show up for yourself and seek the help you need when you need it.
-
Q: Will I be treated differently if I use compassionate care?A: You might. You’ll get the same care, respect, and support as anyone else, it's true. And I will expect you take our work together seriously. When there's a payment barrier, we can let money be the driving force that holds us accountable for showing up on time, getting work done, respecting one another, and achieving goals. Without this between us, we will both have to show up for one another on the pure basis of respect, attention, care, and value. It will be hard because learning new things is hard. It's just that the hard stuff gets a lot easier the more we practice and apply ourselves. And we're going to rise above where we're at, together. We've got this.
-
Q: What is Been-There Compassionate Care?A: These are free or deeply discounted one-on-one advocacy sessions and support options I offer for people who genuinely want to do this work but are facing financial hardship. It’s my way of making sure that money isn’t what stands between you and the support you need.
